Seven years ago, I put aside my mourning, like some kind of modern day Jane Austen character, putting her black silk away. After a year of grieving, I made the decision that would change my life forever - I decided to become a single mother by choice, "please step aside because I'm about to kick the shit out of life."
I got the mother part, times two (so full of gratitude.) The single part . . . well . . . it looks like God has other plans.

I think they openly are loving all the time we have as a family – a reminder that our 21st century lives are so harried most of the times and that this forcing of stillness, reflection and the intimate connection of family is nurtured when we can’t turn it off from 8am-5pm daily. |
